Just for fun

Find your Sun, Moon, and Rising signs

Your Sun sign is only a third of the story. Add your birth time and place, and meet the other two thirds: how you feel, and how you come across.

Born somewhere tiny? Pick the nearest city. A few miles changes nothing.

Everything is calculated right here in your browser. Your birth details never leave your device.

What the three signs mean

The Sun

Your headline

The Sun sign is the you that stays constant: what motivates you, how you shine, the story you keep returning to. The Sun changes signs about once a month, so this is the one most people already know.

The Moon

Your inner weather

The Moon sign describes what you need to feel safe and rested, and how you process feelings when nobody is watching. The Moon changes signs about every two and a half days, so the date usually pins it down.

The Rising

Your front door

The rising sign, or ascendant, is the sign coming up over the eastern horizon at the minute you were born: the first impression you give. It changes every two hours, which is why the birth time matters so much.

Positions come from real astronomical calculations, not date tables. Place lookup uses data from GeoNames (CC BY 4.0). For reflection and fun, not fate.
